Dedicated in memory

Collins
Chart
Note: Bing
Crosby's, 'Do You Hear What I Hear' moves
from 'Predicted Hit' status last week to #5 this week on
WPGC. Meanwhile, holiday staples from Christmas' past re-emerge
in the Top Ten as Bobby Helms'
1957 release, 'Jingle Bell Rock'
comes in at #6 and Brenda Lee's 1960
classic, 'Rockin' Around The Christmas
Tree' slides down the chimney at #5.
Elsewhere
around the DC dial, Bing
Crosby's, 'Do You Hear What I Hear' moves
up from #9 - #4 on the Milt Grant Network
and leaps from #10 - #3 at WWDC, while the Chad
Mitchell Trio's, 'The Marvelous Toy' rises from
#8 - #3 on the Milt Grant Network and
jumps from #9 - #4 at WWDC.
Similarly,
Roy Orbison's timely, 'Pretty
Paper' drops a notch from #10 - #9 at WINX,
also falling a bit from #8 - #9 at WWDC. And
with Christmas just days away, the Beach
Boys', 'Little St. Nick' debuts in the Top Ten
at #7 at WEEL.
Other new holiday tuneage debuting in the Top Ten this
week includes Nancy Wilson's, 'What Are
You Doing New Years Eve' at #5 on WUST.
Of
note is the song debuting in the Top Ten at #6 this week
by the Secrets, 'The Boy Next Door' on WDON,
despite the fact the Morning Mayor at WPGC went by the
handle,' Harv Moore, the
Boy Next Door'!
Also
of interest is this week's Predicted Hit on WWDC, a song
called, 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' by a group calling themselves,
'The Beatles'.....
