Nancy Burgess was part of the office staff in the late '70's. Following the Great Strike That Struck Out she became a WPGC Money Girl.

 

 

She writes:

Shortly after I joined the 'PGC gang, the strike occurred. I worked in the office for the sales staff with Shelby Austin. I found myself thrown into driving the Money Car during the strike. Dan Mason came in & was the Program Director at the time. I continued to work both in the office and doing the Money Car for awhile. Scott Shannon then became Program Director and I found myself sort-of enjoying being on the air. I left WPGC and went to work at several other radio stations.
